Male Genital Warts

When men get genital warts the psychological damage can be more than the physical damage. Here is some information on male genital warts.

Male genital warts can be physically irritating. You will find them around the genital and anus area.

They will cause itching and discomfort and can appear as tiny cluster bumps that look like cauliflower. They can also be small flesh colored swollen bumps.

Male genital warts are generally less obvious and occur less often than they do in females. You can find them on the penis, between the penis and scrotum, and near the anus.

These are one of the most common types of sexually transmitted infections. Men get them when they come in contact with the HPV virus. It is highly contagious and over 65% of men will get it if they come in contact with it within three months.

Man should choose their partners very carefully. One sure way not to get male genital warts is not to have sex with a woman who has them. Condoms can be helpful but are not 100% useful in protecting against them.

In many cases the body’s immune system will clear the virus within a year. However you may need to seek medical attention and have them removed or take a prescription drug for them.

In reality there really is no need for man to get male genital warts. Looking out for yourself is the best form of prevention. If you do that the chances are this is a problem you will never have to deal with.
