Gental warts can be dangerous and cause damage to your body if not treated properly.

The virus he is known as human papilloma virus or HPV, and can cause warts on the cervix, vagina, urethra, vulva, penis, and around the anus.

Many people will have no symptoms although they can become infected around the genitals. One important tip is if you are diagnosed with HPV you must be treated to avoid spreading it to other people.

HPV grows in moist genital areas and on the outer genitals which are easy to spot. They are raised flesh colored lesions that can appear in clusters or individually. If you do not treat them they could become and large and look like cauliflower.

Things you can do to help prevent genital warts and other complications of HPV include not having multiple sex partners, being able to trust the sex partners you have that they are honest with you, not having sex at a young age, and other things.

In these days and times it’s just common sense to be cautious in the number of sex partners you have. Because of the number of different sexual transmitted diseases you need to know more about a person before you put yourself at any type of risk.

Using protection when you have sex is common sense as well. And it can go a long ways toward preventing gental warts.  Hopefully this will educate you a little bit on this topic and give you ideas on how to deal with them if you do encounter them.
